My name is Sam, for the last few years I have travelled the globe, met some inspiring people, and seen some inspiring sights. My love of the mountains stems from my Grandad who sadly passed in 2018, since then I have been searching for a way to repay the mountaineering community in his memory. Through this blog and other avenues I hope to improve the lives of people not only physically through charitable work; But also mentally, as I believe wholeheartedly in the ability of the great outdoors to melt away a great many of life’s trifles.
2020 has been a complete write off and it looks as though 2021 may follow suit, so instead of expanding on my experiences, I want to share the memories I already have stored and tell my story in order to hopefully bring an ember of light into this global darkness we all find ourselves in.
